Way back when—over 60 years ago—there was a quaint café tucked in a corner of Seattle. The café was called Marie’s—named after its owner, Marie Nordquist. One day her chef, Harold Smith, pulled Marie aside to try a spoonful of a new blue cheese dressing he’d crafted. Marie approved and soon customers were lining up for crisp salads crowned with the creamy concoction. The dressing soon became so popular that Marie’s café started bottling it for local retail sale. Made in the Northwest with fresh non gmo ingredients.
