Salsa Fresca for a fun little fiesta!

Salsa Fresca

4 Jalapenos, seeded and chopped according to taste

1-2 Fresh Tomatoes, chopped

3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

1 ¼ teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Pinch dried oregano

Chopped Fresh Garlic

¾ teaspoon salt or to taste

Chop all the ingredients by hand to provide just the right touch of authenticity. Mix all the ingredients together and chill. Fresh salsa will get a little juicy the longer it sits, so be sure to make it fairly close to the time it is to be eaten. Allowing a little time for the salsa recipe to season though will certainly enhance the taste. How do you like your Salsa from mild to spicy to hot? Start with 2 of the Serrano Chiles then add more till you reach your desired level of heat. For a little variety you could even throw in a small can of black beans… be sure to drain them.
